"Communication skill"

"Marc  Alhonte has been my Eldercare lawyer since 2007. He has kindly and wisely counseled me through several difficult situations. After my husband's catastrophic stroke, he helped me set up a power of attorney , advance directive, health care proxy and a will with a special needs trust. I knew I had a supportive , knowledgeable ally.

As our situation became more difficult, Mr. Alhonte was there to help me challenge a home care agency to provide adequate care for my disabled husband .
It was a privilege to witness Mr. Alhonte at a hearing advocating for increased care. He was totally in charge with complete facts and arguments, presenting them with dignity and integrity., which  resulted in the New York State agency granting our request.

I have recommended Mr. Alhonte to several friends and colleagues and will happily continue to do so . He is a fine lawyer and a remarkable man."

Client feedback

" I have known Marc Alhonte for well over ten years professionally as an Eldercare Attorney and have always found him to be quite knowledgeable about Eldercare Law, Trusts & Estates, and be well networked with other professionals.  It is not enough that Marc is technically proficient and knowledgeable though, his bedside manner and personal demeanor, make it comfortable for him to determine the best direction to solve a variety of problems, often related to families, and to do so in an efficient and timely manner.  Over the years, Marc has executed a number of Trust and Will documents for friends and family of mine and has acted as a trusted resource in executing Medicaid Applications, Pooled Trusts, writing well-constructed letters/documents, and Fair Hearing Appeal processes.

I have dealt with a tremendous amount of business and legal people throughout my career and life and Marc is the best!!  Without reservation, I highly recommend Marc to anyone considering hiring a legal expert to successfully manage these types of personal, necessary challenges in the Eldercare and Legal realms. "It is rare in life one comes across an individual who embodies the requisite knowledge in the field of their practice and successfully marries this with unquestioned integrity, devotion and sense of purpose.

Marc Alhonte is that rare exception and aided my family during the elder years of our mother, providing such clarity and in-depth understanding of the law and her rights that we were able to ensure the optimal care available her, as well her long term planning and execution. In our view, there is no wiser course to be taken than under the expert guidance and counsel provided by Mr. Alhonte, who we will most assuredly turn to in the years that follow for our family, their care and planning."
